Tumblr needed a collection of misc. martial arts posts all in one spot. You'll probably find a fair amount of other people's reflections on the importance of martial arts in their lives and traditional martial arts philosophy mixed in with videos and photos.

THIS BLOG IS AGGRESSIVELY FITSPO, NOT THINSPO. Losing weight may happen as a result of fitness, but fitness is the significantly greater priority. I will not actively encourage/endorse Thinspo blogging.

NOTE: If you follow me, and "RedGhostFox" follows you shortly after, that's me.

Blind students

onimartialartist:

Today i had the privilege to teach a blind student, there were 6 students ranging from ages 9-13 that were were either partially blind or completely blind. they came learn self defense from our dojo because 6 others had turned them down for training. 6!! what the hell! regardless it was one of the greatest and fulfilling experiences in my life. i definitely want to train with them all again!

Hella props to you and your school!  That’s really wonderful of you.

“The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step,” and all that.
